April 2007 Drafts

 Hey Heather,

Here is my newsletter entry I hope it arrives to you in time not that emailtakes forever to get to you but you never know with computers these days.Anyways, I will keep this brief because you know most of what is going on inmy life but here it goes.As of last week I started a new job @ Melaleuca. I am now in the BusinessDeveliopment Department they like to call the top of the food chain.  Ireally enjoy all that I am learning and I am really excited about it but ithas been a stressful thing for me to say the least because it is a lot ofschools I have never had, so it is a good thing that is teaching me a lot.The commute to IF each day has been quite fun especially when I can stayawake when I am driving, whiich isn't very often(ha ha)  I think it will bereally good though it is not what I expected to be doing this summer butobviously there is another plan in store for me that Heavenly Father wants.   I also moved once again, which after this time I feel like I never wantto move again just because I have so much junk. I live with 3 other women, one is a professor at the college, another is a seond grade teacher, and theother one is a nurse at a surgical center so all very quite accomplishedwomen. I have learned a lot from them and I haven't even lived there for aweek yet. I think it is also something I needed to do make the change ofmoving. I loved my old roomates and still do but I feel I needed a change.   Wow, I said I was going to keep this short didn't I?! Oops!! I guessother than that everything else in my life is pretty much the same. I amlearning and growing upon new things every day and I am so grateful for thegospel in my life and all it holds for me.  I know there is still a lot ofprogression I can make in that way, in a lot of ways actually but I am trulyblessed as we all are. I  love you all so much and I am so grateful for youreternal examples to me, because I know they really are eternal.  If any ofyou have any advice you can give me that would be much appreciated.  I thinkin the dating world I need a lot of it. I know my time will come and that Iam truly learning to exercise patience and enduring to the end. I just hopeI am living right in all I should and praying daily that I can do the best Ican.  Once again, I love you all so much and I think the world of all of youbecause you are always there for me. Thanks for everything!!! You're theBest! Seja um dos Melhores!

Heather.
Sorry once again about the delay in this.  Let me know if I can do anything to help.  Thanks.
Love ya,
Camille

The Zirkers are all doing great here in Iowa.  It is crazy to think that we only have a couple of months left here.  We are getting excited to leave and move on to the next journey.  We feel like we have been so busy over the last couple of months, but yet we can’t put our finger on exactly why.  We have been working hard to get the basement finished up, which we think is awesome!  That took up about any free time that we had.  Our goal was the first of March, but we didn’t quite make it.  We finally got it done and on the market by the middle of March.  We were so blessed and received an offer only 9 days after putting it on the market.  We felt very fortunate, especially since there are a number of our friends and people in the ward that have had theirs on for months and still nothing yet.  They did an inspection and we got the results from that and they didn’t find a single thing that we need to do or fix.  We are very grateful that things have gone so well and hope that they continue to do so until we close in June.

Earlier this month we were able to go out to Denver for Garrett (Darrick’s younger brother’s) wedding.  It was a drive but the kids did great.  We were looking forward to some nice weather and beautiful mountain views.  It was freezing and cloudy the whole time that we were there.  We did not see a single mountain.  On our way out we were right in the middle of a huge snow storm.  It was no fun, but we made it home.  I guess that we will have to check out Denver another time.  Once again the cavalier came through for us.  We are hoping that the trip out to Idaho will be its last big one.

Darrick took his clinical set of boards just after spring break.  I guess that it was pretty rough up at the school that day.  People were dropping like flies.  We found out that he passed with flying colors.  Yeah.  He takes his very last set this Wednesday, the 18th, which is pretty small.  Everyone keep him in your thoughts and prayers that day.  We will be so glad to have that done!  Graduation will be here before we know it.  It is on Friday June 8th for anyone that would like to join the celebration.  We have plenty of room.

The kids continue to grow and change.  Dakota even wants to pick out her own clothes occasionally.  She sure gives Camden a run for the money.  They sure are fun.  Camden is still in dance.  Her recital is coming up in June, so we are looking forward to that.  Kota starts nursery at the beginning of next month.  YIPPEE.  Although I think that it may be a little rough.  She is a great napper, and she will usually sleep for her dad during that time.

We hope that you are all doing well.  We are so grateful for all of you and love you lots!

The Zirkers

Hello from Michigan.  Things are going well at theKimballs.  We are just hoping to see some blue skieshere soon and things will be even better. We are keeping busy right now with the usual...work,preschool our callings and chasing two kids around. We had a great time in Idaho last month! Isaac andMeagan got to go to Grandma's preschool which theyloved!  It was really fun to watch at least one ofDevin's tennis matches and spend some time on thefarm.  Isaac said his favorite parts were thetractors, four wheeler and wrestling with Devin.Meagan's favorite part was playing with grandma's cashregister, and seeing Maya. We also got to seeCarolyn's new place of work!  Quite impressive! Weeven got to go to lunch with her on our way out oftown! We are all getting excited and feeling quite impatientfor number three to be here.  After all, we all knowthe third child is the favorite right?Kip received a promotion at work last month!  We arevery excited about that! He is enjoying his work inproduct development finance right now.  It is fun tohear from him about the up and coming car features. Isaac is enjoying preschool and is sort of sad thiswill be his last month.  However we spend every daydiscussing what he is going to do, see, eat, wear, read, sing etc. at Kindergarten.  He will start at-ball league in June with other incomingkindergarteners at his school. That should be lots offun.Meagan is as 3 as could be.  She sure keeps thingsexciting around our house.  She loves playing with herbaby Dakota (yes, the namesake of her cute cousin) andplaying kitchen. Her big thing right now is that I amnot allowed to call anyone else sweetheart except her,and if I try to call her sweetie or something likethat she promptly corrects me.  "Mom, I amsweetheart." Sometimes I feel like I should just callher boss.:)I am doing well, and feeling quite large.  People tendto remind me everywhere I go.  My favorite commentsare "You look like you are going to pop!"  and I loveit when people tell me that I am carrying so low andthat there is no way I am going to my due date!Everyone does seem to have an opinion.  Feel free tosend me yours.  I have been busy "nesting."  That forme usually includes innumberable sewing projects thatnever quite get finished (at least not without mom'shelp). We  are looking forward to seeing Grandma/Mom soon andfeel blessed to have an excuse for her to come.We want to add our congratulations to Darrick andCamille (and Camden and Dakota)!  We are so excitedfor them and their graduation, basement finished, andthe sale of their home.  Congrats!  We wish we couldbe there to celebrate with you.We love you all!!

Hey family,
Things are going good here.  We just got another new calf today, another heifer and she is big!  I am thinking she weighs around 110 pounds.  She is a pretty thing with a lot of white on her.  She looks alot like her mother.  Devin and I went out to check on the cows yesterday morning and as we drove up, there was Bubba and Nellie right by the gate laying down and very content.  I guess Bubba decided he would lift his gate off the hinges and escape.  I went in and went right up to him and Nellie and they both got up and walked into their correll without a fight.  It was funny seeing them there to greet us like that.
We had a fellow come in and dig out our ditch along the top of the farm.  He also put in 5 new culverts for us and made a pad for us along the East side of the canel so we can drive along it on the 4-wheeler.  All of those things together will really save us a lot of time and be nice, but it wasn't cheap.
Devin is doing great in tennis.  He and Tanner had a match with Hillcrest #1 last night. They played a shortened versioin and beat them 6-7.  Coach was very excited and I haven't seen Devin smile that big in quite a while.   Hillcrest is the only team that our team has not beat yet this year.  Devin and his team mates and some parents will be spending a few hours to landscape the new courts on Saturday.  It is going to be very nice when it is completed.   Devin also just registered for his SENIOR year classes last night.  I can;'t believe he is a senior!
Dad had a learning experience in Cuba.  He said it wasn't necessarily fun but it was educational.  Talk about a country that has made little progress in the last 50 years!.  Like he said, "Communism is alive and well in Cuba".  He doesn't see much future trading with them because they have no money.  I am going to try to send a few pictures of Cuba with my part of the newsletter.  He was glad to get home.
As far as my life goes, nothing too exciting.  I took my classes to Pizza Hut for a field trip last week.  That was fun.  Next week, we are going to the Library.  I am totally full in both classes for next year.  I don't know where all these cute children are coming from, but Rexburg never seems to have a lack of children.
We had a special fireside a couple weeks ago telling us about the Rexburg Temple.  It is so beautiful.  I can't wait until it opens.  Devin and I were talking as we went to the farm this morning and he will be able to receive his Endowments there before he goes on his mission.  He said, "Well I should, I was the only one in the family, born here in Rexburg."
Dallin seems to be doing great. He is working hard in his new area and having great success.  I think his mission president has alot of confidence in him.  We are gratefull for his success and appreciate all your support and letters to him and I know he really appreciates it.  I can't believe he will be 20 years old on Sunday.  Where does the time go?
We sure love and appreciate all of you.  Thanks for choosing to do the right and serve the Lord.  Thank you for your examples of service that you render every day to your families and neighbors.  We don't like to think about what our lives would be like without all of you.  Thank you also for you help and support to us.
Love,  Dad, Mom and Devin
